We visited Dahshur, Saqqara and Imhotep today. We actually got a chance to go inside Dahshur. The passageway was very narrow and small so we all had to bend and carefully go down the dark path which seemed to go on endlessly. There wasn’t anything too exciting inside but the idea of being able to go inside a pyramid that was so old and the difficulty of going inside made it worthwhile. We didn’t get chance to go inside Saqqara as it was under construction, but did go inside Imhotep, which was a lot shorter than Dahshur Surrounding Saqqara were huge walls, in impression of the King’s house.
